Within the central silhouette of the town of Knoxville is Steve Kinser, 12 time Knoxville Nationals champion. The shape of the state of Iowa surrounds this, containing the heroes who won the nationals. The border contains many more incredible participants: car owners along the top; mechanics-fabricators-manufacturers; Wed/Thu night winners; rookies; promoters; media; museum directors; photographers; etc. This historical presentation covers the period of 1961-2010. The artist, Cynthia Bourbeau-Kathe is a nationally known portrait and fine arts artist. Her work includes many notable celebrities and high profile executives. She works out of her Lyme, CT studio.
